  3.   I am Dave Burns, author of the Public Domain version of Jeopardy 
  4. for the Atari Computer.  I hope you enjoy this game and I have
  5. a special offer to tell you about.  I am currently offering 
  6. a disk of all new Jeopardy game files.  There are over 30 
  7. complete new games for your enjoyment.  In the past I offered a 
  8. disk with over 10 games on it for five dollars.  This $5 and the
  9. new one also include the Jeopardy Game File Creator Program so that
  10. you can create your own games for the Public Domain Jeopardy Game. 
  11. Also on this disk is a brand new 3.0 version of Jeopardy.  This 
  12. will be uploaded to the same place I originally uploaded the 2.0
  13. version to, sometime in the future.  Depending on where you got 
  14. your version, it may take awhile for you to see this new one.
  15. The new version is even better than version 2.0 that you got have.
  16. The major difference is an optional dispute key.  If you play 
  17. with the dispute key, it can be used when all players agree that a 
  18. right answer was counted as wrong (and vise versa).

  20. Also I have written a new game which I call C.A.G.E.. 
  21. That stands for Computer Aided Gambling Environment.
  22. It is a game that combines more than 8 games of chance  
  23. and skill.  One or more computer players and zero 
  24. to two computerized players can compete with each other or on 
  25. teams.  It is a really fun game that my family enjoys playing.  
  26. The game has several options to set up the play, and a one-key 
  27. instant help function.  This key when pressed will inform or 
  28. remind you of the rules and payoffs of the game you are currently 
  29. engaged in.  The games within this game include: stud poker, draw 
  30. poker, acey ducey (in-between), pick a card and dice games such as 
  31. 5 of a kind, oh-heck, over/under and more.

  35. The disk with over 30 new Jeopardy games and the final version of
  36. Jeopardy plus the Game Creator is available for $10.  If you would  
  37. also like the files from the $5 disk, I will add them for only $3.
  38. And I put a copy of C.A.G.E. on the disk for you for an additional
  39. three bucks.  So there you have it: 10 bucks for 30+ game files, 
  40. 13 for over 40 files, and 16 will get them all plus C.A.G.E.
  41. If you send 50 cents for postage your order 
  42. should be sent out within 48 hours of receipt.  If not it may take 
  43. a little longer.  If you are ordering, please fill in the order 
  44. form that can be printed by double clicking on ORDER.TXT or send 
  45. your name and address with a check or money order with a note 
  46. telling me what you want.

  48. P.S.  We non-commercial software writers don't get rich doing 
  49. this.  I know you've probably seen many pleas for support.  
  50. I believe that you will definitely get your moneys worth from this 
  51. deal, especially considering the time it took to type in all these 
  52. games. Some people send more than the asked for amount, and let
  53. me tell you, that really pleases us.  Anyway, let me add to the  
  54. pleas:  If you find yourself using something over and over go 
  55. ahead and send a nominal amount to the creator of it.  It will 
  56. make you feel good, and will encourage more cheap software 
  57. developement.
